a friend downloaded this so called movie We Want Your Money and we watched some of it. No question it is total propaganda these people re-right history and fools believe it. I looked up the national debt and they fail to mention that their hero Regan ran up a huge record debt as did Bush check it out http://home.adelphi.edu/sbloch/deficits.html the republicans have run up huge deficits. these people are are insane cray liars intent on evil. no question they are bold liars or just crazy

  4. Hi Roger – you’re right: The government spending is ridiculous and must be stopped. Here at ToBeRIGHT, we’re patriots first, conservative second, and Republican third.

Reagan is a hero to the conservative movement largely because he was so successful in getting the country out of the late 70’s slump. He also championed lower taxes and smaller government. Reading Reagan’s diaries, notes and personal letters, it is clear that he wanted much bigger reductions in the state through things like the dissolution of the Department of Education and other items. These were too ambitious even for Reagan; with a Democrat-controlled Congress, these were pipe dreams.

It is arguable that military spending was largely responsible for the debt under Reagan. At least we got something for it – I remember 1989 and the end of the Soviet Union well.

Bush 41, Clinton and Bush 43 all facilitated a massive increase in the size and scope of government. For this, they cannot be forgiven. Obama has taken the few hundred million in debt Bush 43 left and amplified it three or four times over – in just 2 and a half years!

The government must be stopped. Looking back at 30 years of history is important for perspective, but it does no good to wax on about Reagan or Bush. RIGHT NOW we have the most profligate spender we have ever had in the White House, and we have to do whatever we can to ensure he is voted out of office, along with any other big spenders – Republican or Democrat.

I am glad to hear that you agree the massive spending is bad and must be stopped.
